Community Partnership Application

The Community Resource Center is the medium to link local agencies with members of the community. The CRC aspires to assist partnering agencies fulfill their goals and mission by strengthening our relationship and working together in order to create a larger impact in the community. The core services of the CRC include:

  • Information, Resource, & Referral Services - As a centralized community service, the CRC can provide up-to-date information about local agencies, services, and programs. The CRC will provide avenues to ensure the community is aware of your agency's services, events, and announcements.
  • Web-based Information and Referral - Partners can be linked and list opportunities directly on the CRC website. The website utilizes a search tool provided by Senior Navigator that will offer a full listing of services throughout the community.
  • Direct Referral of Potential Volunteers - The CRC is the local volunteer center and clearinghouse. When contacting the CRC, volunteers are matched and referred to organizations that offer programs that fit the volunteers' interests, skills, and talents.
  • Current Publications - Upon being a Community Partner, agencies will receive current information announcing events and changes throughout the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
  • National Volunteer Database Listing - 1-800-VOLUNTEER.ORG is a national website portal that informs potential volunteers about opportunities to serve at local agencies.
